The problem
Livestock farms track animals, feed rations and money in paper notebooks. Existing apps assume a constant connection; a barn assumes nothing.
What we did
- 01
Built the app database-first on the device: every record lives in local SQLite and never waits for the network.
- 02
Modelled the real farm: individual animals and batches, rations, feed stock with low-stock alerts, weight charts, pedigree, vaccinations.
- 03
Kept money in integer minor units end to end, with reports and PDF/CSV export an accountant accepts.
Where it landed
The farm runs entirely from the app, offline, in three languages. The product is field-tested daily on a real working farm before any feature ships.
